To celebrate this anniversary and commemorate his distinguished contribution to humanities and beyond, the University of Tartu, Tallinn University,&nbsp;Juri&nbsp;Lotman\u2019s Semiotics Repository and the Estonian Association of Semiotics will be hosting an International&nbsp;Congress&nbsp;\u201cJuri&nbsp;Lotman\u2019s&nbsp;Semiosphere\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Confirmed plenary speakers are\u00a0<strong>Aleida Assmann<\/strong>\u00a0(University of Konstanz, Germany) and <strong>Jan Assmann<\/strong>\u00a0(Heidelberg University, Germany),\u00a0<strong>Mieke Bal<\/strong>\u00a0(Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis, Netherlands),\u00a0<strong>Sergey Nekludov<\/strong>\u00a0(Russian State University for the Humanities),\u00a0<strong>Yuri Tsivian<\/strong>\u00a0(The University of Chicago, USA), and\u00a0<strong>Boris Uspenskij<\/strong>\u00a0(National Research University Higher School of Economics, Russia).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a
